Something that I learned in a program is to have a cheat day once a week where I actually overeat. This revs up my metabolism, and if I burn 750 calories per day, then on my cheat day I can eat extra calories and still lose a pound per week. Cheat days shouldn't be an all you can eat pig out- but it's nice to have that slice of pizza or cake every once in a while, and not let it be detrimental to your goals.
