Stability ball exercises are an excellent way to add a new challenge to your existing workouts.
If you are like me, you are always looking for new and interesting ways to build muscle and burn fat. After all, doing the same workouts using the same equipment can become monotonous, and we can easily fall into a rut.
That is where stability ball exercises come in.
A stability ball is a large, lightweight exercise ball made out of PVC. They generally rang in size from 35cm (14 inches) on the small side, to 85cm (34 inches) for a larger stability ball.
Absolutely, exercises performed with a stability ball can help to burn fat and build muscle. Otherwise, they would not be on this site!
One thing you should remember when performing any of the exercises below that involves lifting weights is that you will not be able to lift as much weight as when not on the stability ball.
As a result, these types of exercises should be utilized to add a new challenge to your fat burning and muscle building workouts, not to replace all exercises. This is even more important if your goal is to build muscle.
