I use thedailyplate.com to track my eating and exercise, it allows me to see when I have weakened and how it impacts my goals. I can also see what exercise I can do to make up for any diet shortfalls. Really it helps you see too that you don't need diet food you just need to eat more wholesome food and carbs that add nutrients to your body like whole grains etc. I can even add how I am feeling each day which I am now watching to see any trends of when my energy is high or too low because their may be trigger foods etc. Even nicer is the pie chart telling me where my calories go and I get to ask myself "was it worth it"?. Truly a huge eye opener and I strongly suggest everyone start there. It was amazing to see how little I ate but all the wrong foods caused serious weight gain.
